Easy Ways to Raise Money for Garden Grove Elem.

There are lots of ways that families can help raise money for our school. Eating out with us, shopping for groceries, buying school supplies are just a few. Every little bit helps and it goes a long way when we all work together.  Don’t forget to let you family and friends know too.

ð        Dinners (or Dessert) With Garden Grove: Each month, we choose a different local eatery to host a dinner or dessert night. We get together and have fun. At the same time, we are getting a percentage of each sale donated to the school.

ð        Box Tops for Education: General Mills will donate up to $20,000 per year to us! If we could get that much, we wouldn't need any other fund raisers! All we have to do is to send the coupon logo from their many products in to the school. Sign up online at www.boxtops4education.com and become a member, we get points for that too! You can do your online shopping through the websites' marketplace section where each vendor will donate a percentage of your purchases to our school.

In 09/10 Garden Grove raised $1,747.00.  KEEP CLIPPING!

ð        Tyson's Project A+: Look for Tyson chicken products that display the Project A+ logo. Clip or tear the entire label and send it in. Each label is worth 24 cents and they can add up quickly! Remember to save the labels when you buy Tyson products!

ð        Campbell's Labels for Education: Campbell's products will donate merchandise to the school when we send in qualifying product labels. Log onto www.labelsforeducation.com for more ways to help, for a product list or to download delicious recipes.

ð        Used Toner and Ink Jet Cartridges and Cell Phones: Garden Grove PTA collects these items and recycles them for cash for the school and it helps to save the environment at the same time! Send in w/student

ð        Office Depot's 5% Back to Schools Program: When you shop at Office Depot, ask the cashier to designate Garden Grove, ID#70015250, for the 5% credit. This can go a long way towards getting basic supplies for the school!  If you forget the number, no need to worry, just let them know to give Garden Grove the credit and they will.

ð        Target's TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION Program: Through this program Target will donate to Garden Grove, 1% of RED card purchases made at Target and .05% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere. Every little bit adds up, we’ve earned over $12,000 so far from this program! Register online at www.target.com or in the store.

ð        Ralph's Community Contribution Program: If you are a Ralph's shopper, sign up in store or at

www.ralphs.com to designate Garden Grove to get a percentage donated to us. Our ID number is 80194.  For those shoppers who have already done so, remember to update your account online again this year to continue to support Garden Grove!    YOU MUST RE-REGISTER EVERY YEAR.

ð        Vons/Pavilions/Safeway Escrip Program: You can register your Vons Club card online at

www.escrip.com with Garden Grove's ID#140067161. They donate every time you purchase and

scan your card!    YOU MUST RE-REGISTER EVERY YEAR.

ð        Fresh n’ Easy: $hop for SchoolsSept 15th through Dec. 31st, 2010 - Send in your receipts with your child and your name to return them and we receive a credit for every purchase made.
